Gate

Gate block

Overview

The gate block allows you to pause progression at a specific point in the flow until all incoming paths have been transitioned. This is useful for experiences where you might want to wait until certain blocks have been transitioned before proceeding to any downstream blocks.

Paths originating from the gate block will automatically transition once the gate block condition is met.

Example

The example below showcases how the gate block functions in a scenario where two paths flow into it.

Note how the flow does not progress past the gate block until both Step A and Step B transition along their complete path.
